Kazakhstan – conquering new markets

Posted on October 7, 2020 by e-Stado

The e-stado company started cooperation with distributors of equipment for cattle barns in Kazakhstan. This is another market with high potential for the development of dairy and meat cattle breeding. In Kazakhstan, more than 80% of milk is produced by individual farms, and the number of cowsheds, but also dairies, is constantly growing. Dairy farms are focused on achieving high milk yields, correct balance of feed rations and improvement of reproduction parameters. Due to very high temperatures in summer, reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius, farmers have considerable problems to meet these challenges, mainly due to heat stress and unfavorable environmental conditions for high yielding dairy cows. In such conditions, but also with increasing frequency of droughts and poor fodder base (only 15% are cultivated land), it is difficult to catch the heat and take care of correct reproduction and herd health. For dairy and beef cattle breeders in Kazakhstan, the e-stado monitoring system can become an excellent solution to improve the efficiency of milk production.
